Watercolour Pieces

My larger-scale watercolour pieces from 2021-2022.

Watercolour Pieces

(above) A watercolour piece I made for a senior year art class in 2022. I referenced a picture of a Vietnamese building I found on Pinterest. The whole painting took approx. 1-2 weeks from sketch, to lineart, to paint.

(below) Another watercolour piece I did for art class. This time I planned out the piece beforehand digitally to get proportions and perspective the way I wanted.

(below) A piece I made in my junior year art class. The assignment was to create an art piece that had some sort of deeper level of meaning. I chose to illustrate the personification “Father Time” being turned into stone and cracking. At the time, the pandemic had slowed everyone down to the point where every day felt almost exactly like the last. Hence, Father Time being shown slowing down and freezing. Personally, I felt like I wanted to touch on that in this art.
